ABOUT
Hi, I am Laura and I am the owner and operator of Drive Smart Fraser Coast. I have been a driving instructor since 2023. I have lived on the beautiful Fraser Coast with my family for more than 10 years.
I spent 15 years serving the community as a police officer with the Queensland Police Service. Over that time I attended many traffic crashes and saw the effect that they have on individuals and the wider community.
During my career as a police officer, I attained my appointment as Detective and worked with young people in the Child Protection and Investigation unit for 8 years.
I am calm, patient, and am passionate about teaching skills that will not only see you pass your driving test, but set you up for years of safe driving.

1 hour driving lesson
$80
A 1 hour lesson working at whatever level of driving you are at.
We can work on basic driving skills, scanning, manoeuvres, or prep for your driving test.
1. 5 hour Sunday lesson
$120
​1.5 hour driving lesson gives you more time on the road. Whether you are working on your logbook hours or would just benefit from a longer lesson, this is for you! - auto lesson only
Driving test package
$200
The driving test package includes 1 hour before the test to have a warm up drive, use of a Drive Smart Fraser Coast car for the test and transport home afterwards.
